Christie Lockhart is currently the Medical Director of Quality, Innovation and Research as well as the Chief of the Department of Midwifery and Co-Program Medical Director of Maternal Newborn & Child Health Service at Michael Garron Hospital. Christie has been a practicing midwife in Toronto since 2007 and is a practice partner at The Midwives’ Clinic of East York-Don Mills. With a passion for health systems innovation and a strong focus on health equity, Christie is committed to serving East Toronto families with excellence and supporting birth at MGH, home and the Toronto Birth Centre.
