Dr. William Kraemer graduated from the University of Western Ontario (Meds ‘89) and completed an internship at St. Michael’s Hospital in 1990. He entered the Gallie Residency Training Program in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toronto where he graduated in 1995. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery at Michael Garron Hospital, and a Spine and Trauma Surgery fellowship at Sunnybrook Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Kraemer joined the surgical staff of Michael Garron Hospital in 1996. Dr. Kraemer is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at The University of Toronto. He was the Program Director for the University of Toronto Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program from 2006-2010. Dr. Kraemer’s interests include general orthopaedics (hip and knee replacements, arthroscopy, trauma) as well as adult lumbar spinal surgery.
