If you are experiencing a potentially life-threatening issue, please note that our ED remains open and operational. 

We appreciate your kindness and patience as our team does their best to provide urgent care for patients as safely and quickly as possible.  

The entrance on Sammon Avenue between Coxwell Avenue and Knight Street is temporarily closed during construction. Patients and visitors should use the main entrance at 825 Coxwell Avenue to enter and exit the hospital. View our campus map.

Prenatal Classes

PRENATAL and Postnatal CLASSES (online)

Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) is pleased to partner with Markham Prenatal to deliver a series of prenatal classes to support expectant parents and their support persons. All prenatal classes are currently being offered in a virtual format, at no cost to registrants. 

Our prenatal classes have been developed with the goal of providing accurate, current and unbiased information that supports parents and families to feel more prepared as they approach the labour, delivery and postpartum periods. All classes are facilitated by professionals with experience in maternal and newborn care. Register for prenatal classes. 

Postpartum Support with SeamlessMD

MGH partners with SeamlessMD to provide a free mobile digital education tool that guides a patient through their postpartum healthcare journey with reminders, notifications and surveys.
