3 ways to give back

The fight against COVID-19 begins here: Find out how you can support our frontline caregivers during this global pandemic

Each and every day, Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) is on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19 – and we are asking for all of the support we can get to keep the East Toronto community safe.

Here are three ways you can help:

Donate unused & unexpired personal protective equipment (PPE)

A group of medical leaders in the MGH community organized a campaign to support anticipated shortages of PPE across the health system. The PPE Drive is meant to encourage businesses and individuals to donate PPE, including masks, gowns and gloves, to healthcare workers.

Donate your time: MGH is challenging East Toronto sewists to make 1,000 masks per week

MGH 1000 masks challenge

To keep the East Toronto community healthy and safe, MGH is issuing a challenge to all East End sewists to collectively make 1,000 masks per week to distribute to all hospital visitors, discharged patients and those in the community who care for elderly and vulnerable loved ones.
