In November 2023, Michael Garron Hospital’s Mental Health Outpatient Unit on B4 will be moving back into its previous space on H5 now that renovation work is complete. Please note at this time, the Rapid Access Addiction Medicine (RAAM) clinic continues to operate on C4 until renovations in its original space are completed. If you are on-site and need assistance, please visit one of our information desks.
Michael Garron Hospital's (MGH) mental health services have experienced and committed interdisciplinary teams.The teams are comprised of physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, occupational therapists, neuropsychologists, psychometrists, social workers, mental health workers, case managers, and addiction workers. These skilled clinicians will work in partnership with you and your family or significant others to attain your treatment goals.
We offer a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services to our community. These services may be accessed by a referral by a family physician or by a self- referral. Offsite areas of care include the Community Outreach Services and Withdrawal Management Services which maintains a residential program and a day-program.
Emergency Services are located in the emergency department.
Psychiatrist on call: Monday-Sunday, 24 hours/day.
Crisis Intervention Specialist: Monday-Sunday 9 a.m.-11 p.m. Provides assessment, intervention and referral sources to hospital-based programs or other community services.
