MGH seeking art to display in new patient care centre

Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) is searching for art to purchase and permanently display in the new eight-storey Ken and Marilyn Thomson Patient Care Centre, a new adjoining three-storey building, and renovated areas of existing facilities.

The goal is to create a welcoming facility for patients and their families in the East Toronto area, with an emphasis on building a strong sense of community.

We welcome submissions in any media and in any style. Any wall art, sculptural art or digital art will be accepted in any medium; framing is not required. MGH may have requirements regarding cleaning or safety.

Prices will be considered in the range of $100-10,000.

Preference may be given to artists and art that:
- Demonstrates an understanding of East Toronto
- Illustrates diversity, equity and inclusion
- Is suitable in scale for the space (minimum size 36" x 36")
