The Child and Teen Clinic at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) is a multi-specialty clinic. We are an expert group of paediatricians, gynaecologists, nurses, dieticians, pharmacists, social workers, lactation consultants and child life specialists that provides comprehensive care to neonates, children, teens and their families.
We offer safe and quality care to children and families closer to home. Parents are partners in children’s care and are included in decision-making. Our team of experts is committed to working with a child’s parents, doctor and other community resources to care for their specific healthcare needs.
Service change notice for Outpatient Paediatric Cardiology Clinic:
Please note that effective November 2022, clinic patients who require an echocardiogram and an ECG (both completed in the Diagnostic Imaging department) may be required to complete their tests on different days.
Any patients impacted by this change will be contacted by a clerk in advance with appointment details for each test. For urgent questions, please contact the Child and Teen Clinic at ext. 6590. Thank you for your understanding.
Service change notice for Gastroenterology Clinic:
MGH’s pediatric Gastroenterology clinic will be temporarily closed as of November 2023. We are no longer accepting referrals into this service. Existing patients will be notified and we will work on transferring their care as needed. We will provide updates as soon as we are ready to reopen our clinic. In the meantime, any new pediatric Gastroenterology referrals can be sent to The Hospital for Sick Children (Sick Kids), Humber River Health, Scarborough Health Network, KinderCare Paediatrics or North York General Hospital.
We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. If you are an existing patient and have any concerns, please contact @email.
All clinics excluding the breastfeeding clinic require a referral from your family doctor, midwife or paediatrician.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment to register at Patient Registration (1st Floor G-wing). Bring your health card and your current medications. If you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call 416-469-6590.
