Join MGH’s new Inpatient Medicine Patient Experience Panel!

Have you or a loved one been a patient in or visited Michael Garron Hospital’s (MGH) inpatient medicine units (T9, T8, T7, A3 and B3) in the last two years? Do you want to share your ideas, feedback and experiences to help improve care in these areas for patients, family members and caregivers? 

If so, please think about joining MGH’s new Inpatient Medicine Patient Experience Panel!  

As a patient, family member or caregiver, your feedback and experiences are vital to helping us improve the care our teams provide in Inpatient Medicine. Our Inpatient Medicine Team specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and care of adults with complex diseases affecting all organs. People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome! 

What you will do: 

  • Share your ideas, feedback and experiences to help improve care in MGH’s inpatient medicine units (T9, T8, T7, A3 and B3). 
  • Collaborate with other patients, family members and caregivers. 
  • Participate in virtual or in-person meetings once every two months for one year starting in summer 2024 on a volunteer basis.

Please note MGH’s Inpatient Medicine Patient Experience Panel is separate from MGH’s Patient Experience Panel. The Inpatient Medicine Patient Experience Panel is a unit-specific committee dedicated to the Inpatient Medicine Department, whereas the Patient Experience Panel contributes to projects across the hospital that impact patient care.
