Dan is a general paediatrician with an interest in technological and financial innovation to improve patient safety and quality of care on an individual, organizational as well as system-wide basis.
He currently practices as a primary and consultant paediatrician at Midtown Pediatrics in Toronto, and as a hospitalist paediatrician at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH).
He is the Paediatric IT lead at MGH and sits on the Executive of the Paediatric Section of the Ontario Medical Association.
He completed residency and medical school at the University of Toronto, prior to which he led Deloitte LLP's Sustainability & Climate Change practice as a management consultant, co-authored the textbook, Hybrid Organizations: New Business Models for Environmental Leadership, and worked as an international development volunteer in Papua New Guinea.
He holds an MBA and MS from the University of Michigan and a B.Eng. in mechanical engineering from McGill University.
