Dr. NANDA GOPINATH

I completed all of my medical training at the University of Toronto, from medical school through to completion of Gastroenterology training. Further training in Advanced Endoscopy (including ERCP) was at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands); and then in Australia (at the Universities of Melbourne and Perth).

Since returning to Canada, I greatly enjoyed the multicultural nature of community practice at East General, now MGH. Over the years, I have had the good fortune to introduce a number of endoscopic techniques and technologies to our hospital, and have maintained a keen interest in endoscopy matters in the GTA. My stint as Head of Gastroenterology ended as the pandemic now fades, and hopefully we can continue to improve our processes to better serve our community.
