Dr. Oakley Smith graduated from the University of Toronto and completed a rotating internship at the Michael Garron Hospital. He entered the Toronto Residency Training Program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (OTHNS) at the University of Toronto where he graduated in 1989. He completed a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (FPRS) in New Orleans. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada and is American board certified in OTHNS and FPRS. Dr. Oakley Smith joined the surgical staff of Michael Garron Hospital in 1996. Dr.Oakley Smith is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of OTHNS at The University of Toronto. He is a director of the Michael Garron Hospital Foundation, section head of OTHNS of the Ontario Medical Association and Clinical Lead OTHNS Access-to-Care program MOHLTC. He is a member of the OMA, ACS, AAOTHNS and AAFPRS. Dr. Oakley Smith’s interests include clinical research in nasal physiology and new surgical techniques in Rhinoplasty.
