Dr. Christakis pursued his undergraduate education at Yale University receiving a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, with a focus in computational chemistry. He completed his medical school at the University of Toronto and continued his residency training in the Department of Ophthalmology, where he was recognized with the Woywitka Cup for the highest resident standing over 5 years. He is currently practicing as a comprehensive ophthalmologist in Toronto. He performs cataract surgery at Michael Garron Hospital.
