Our operations are not affected by the sinkhole and watermain break at the intersection of Coxwell Avenue and Cosburn Avenue.
All patient care services, including the Stavro Emergency Department, are operating as normal. If you have an appointment or feel you need care at MGH, please proceed to the hospital.
The Geriatric Medicine Clinic sees patients who are 65 years of age and older assessing a variety of conditions affecting older adults including cognitive impairment, falls and mobility issues, behavioural difficulties related to dementia, polypharmacy, functional decline, frailty or caregiver strain.
Patients can be referred to the clinic by their community family physicians, specialists or the Stavro Emergency Department. The clinic works in collaborative partnerships with community agencies to improve the health and quality of life for older adults.
Patients require a physician or nurse practitioner (NP) referral in order to be seen by a specialist at the Geriatric Medicine Clinic.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to register at Patient Registration (located on M1). Please allow 2 to 3 hours for your appointment and ensure you have made arrangements for pick-up transportation accordingly. Please bring your health card and current medications with you. You may also bring a support person if you require assistance.
IMPORTANT: It is important that you keep your appointment date and time. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please call 416-469-6580 ext. 6394 at least 48 hours before your appointment so we can offer your slot to another patient. Failure to cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 48 hours in advance may require a new referral to be seen by the specialist.
