The PPE Drive: Medical leaders launch campaign to support COVID-19 response

A group of medical leaders in the Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) community have organized a campaign to support anticipated shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) across the health system. The PPE Drive is meant to encourage businesses and individuals with personal protective equipment, like masks and gloves, to donate them to healthcare workers.

“We've been overwhelmed by messages of support from our community and the response to this appeal. Right now, there's no better way to say thank you to healthcare workers for keeping all of us safe and healthy by making sure that they can stay safe and healthy as they care for patients.”

- Mitze Mourinho, President of Michael Garron Hospital Foundation
