Occup Therapy/Physiotherapy Asst

- 2 years acute care hospital based experience required.
- Experience in medicine, surgery and geriatric care required.
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Candidates with experience with orthopaedic and cardiorespiratory care will be given p reference.
- Ability to modify interventions quickly in accordance to changes in patient status required.
- Ability to carry out directions of therapists.
- Independent decision making skills required.
- Exceptional patient centered care skills r equired.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to function as an effective interdisciplinary team member.
- Willingness to participate/lead health service councils and professional groups.
- Motivated to pract ice in accordance with the mission and vision of hospital/health service.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and personal development.
- Evening and weekend shifts may be necessary.
- Good work and attendance record required.
