Overview

The Operational Excellence (OpX) team partners with patients, leaders and care providers across the hospital and its community to drive positive change in the areas of quality, patient safety, and financial sustainability. Reporting to the Program Leade r, Operational Excellence, the improvement analyst will support teams in the design and delivery of improvement projects, and help to foster a continuous improvement culture.

Education

- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Industrial Engineering degree or Business degree preferred.
- Master’s degree (Business or Healthcare Administration) and healthcare related certifications are assets.
- Lean/Six-sigma and project management certifi cations are assets.

Qualifications

- 2 to 5 years of experience designing and implementing quality/process improvement projects (in a hospital setting preferred).
- Performance improvement consulting experience preferred.
- Highly developed skills in formatting/manipulating data extract ed from various hospital information systems, conducting analyses, and creating data dashboards.
- Strong team facilitation skills - able to provide multi-disciplinary team members with clarity on project goals and pathway to achieve success.
- Excelle nt time management skills - can effectively manage multiple projects and address competing demands on the basis of priority.
- Excellent capabilities with Microsoft Office suite.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written - can succinct ly convey the salient messages imbedded in large information sets.
- Good work and attendance record is required.
