Overview

The Coordinator, COVID-19 Outreach is responsible for the overall coordination of several functions to support the East Toronto COVID-19 Outreach efforts. The Coordinator assists with enquiries and problem solving issues with internal and external conta cts on a daily basis. The incumbent is responsible for organizing and supporting offsite setup, ordering supplies, helping to troubleshoot problems, also they will help to manage payroll, completing staff schedules, supporting clerical functions such as scheduling meetings, taking minutes, following up as directed by team members. The Coordinator will also assist with offsite COVID-19 ordering and generating patient labels to help facilitate testing. The Coordinator will be a support to the Community teams supporting Long term care, COVID-19 Assessment Centres, and School Outreach.

Education

- Post Secondary in Office Administration or equivalent required
- Undergraduate degree preferred.

Qualifications

- 5 years of recent relevant experience in an administrative role
- Experience in health care environment required, hospital based experience an asset
- Flexible working hours to accommodate departmental needs
- Proven customer service orientati on; must be friendly and demonstrate professionalism at all times
- Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external partners and to work effectively in a team based environment
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal sk ills
- Excellent and effective written and verbal communication skills including proficiency in preparing
agendas, taking minutes, drafting written correspondence and designing organizing systems
- Proven project management and organizational skill s with the ability to juggle multiple priorities,
manage time wisely, work well independently and track progress of initiatives
- Demonstrated accountability including collaborative problem solving, effective decision making and sound critical thinki ng skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy, proficient in all programs in Microsoft Office is required; website
management is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to participate in quality initiatives including collection and presentation of data

- Demonstrated proficiency with the Payroll System and the SRM ordering system
- Typing speed of at least 50 WPM required
- Good work & attendance record is required
