Join our team as a full-time Talent Acquisition Specialist.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the full cycle recruitment process while working closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify timelyrec ruitment solutions. In this role, you will serve as the central point of contact for hospital-wide recruitment and be responsible for the administration of all active recruitment files, including drafting job postings, conducting pre-screening interviews and testing, coordinating interviews, performing reference checks, preparing offer letters
and new employee onboarding, serving as a liaison between candidates and hiring managers, coordinating and attending virtual job fairs and supportinghiring mana gers with successful hiring strategies. You will be responsible for HRIS and ATS administration, maintaining regular recruitment metrics and developing process improvements and standardization for recruitment activities as well as preparing and distribut ing recruitment reports. In this role, you will have the opportunity to participate in the development and implementation of key projects such as training new users on a newly implemented Applicant Tracking System, examining upgrades to existing selecti on tools, and the evolution of our Patient Experience Panel program. This role will also provide relief coverage to the HR Advisor and HR Assistant roles.

Education

- Post-secondary education in Human Resources management or a related discipline.
- Attainment of or working towards Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation, preferred.

Qualifications

- A minimum of three (3) years experience in Human Resources leading high-volume, full cycle recruitment in a unionized environment required, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Demonstrated experience in developing successful recruitment strategies in partnership with hiring managers.
- Experience in working with HR Information Systems and Applicant Tracking Systems, required. - Familiarity with NJOYN V2 and/or SmartStream, an asset.
- Experience in candidate sourcing, focused advertising strateg ies and developing talent pipelines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work as a part of a team, required.
- Strong experience with various sourcing techniques including leveraging social media channels (such asTwitter and LinkedIn);
- Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity in working with and ability to interpret collective agreements.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with orientation towards detail, required.
- Demo nstrated tact and professionalism.
- Ability to understand and manage situations utilizing emotional intelligence.
- Abilityto recognize, handle and protect highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Ability to adapt to change and work efficien tly in a fast-paced challenging environment.
- Experience with the collection, analysis and reporting data required.
- Proficient in the use of a variety of software packages (ie. Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Demonstra ted commitment to continuous learning, thorough knowledge of current trends and issues in Human Resources management.
- Good work and attendance record required.
