Michael Garron Hospital's Quality & Patient Safety Plan builds on our strong history of quality and our determination to provide safe, equitable and accessible patient care.
The Plan has identified three priorities:
- High performing teams
- Early warning systems
- Speak up for safety
Fostering a culture of quality starts with building, strengthening and sustaining high performing teams. When all members of the team – which includes patients and their families – trust each other, have a clear picture of their role and understand how they fit into the larger picture, we’re better able to work toward a common goal: identifying potential safety hazards and quality of care issues (early warning system) and voicing their concern (speak up for safety).
