Dr Ari Levinson was born in London, UK and raised and educated in Cape Town, South Africa, graduating from the University of Cape Town with a degree in Medical Biochemistry and then Medical Degree, before coming to Canada. He worked as a GP in Rural Saskatchewan for 3 years, and then entered Specialty training at MacMaster University in Hamilton ON, doing Internal Medicine and then Cardiology with an additional year of fellowship training in Cardiac Imaging. He has been a staff cardiologist at TEGH / MGH since July 1998.
Dr Levinson is Medical Director of Toronto Cardiac Diagnostics, a full service noninvasive cardiac imaging diagnostic centre situated on Wynford Drive. He is married with 4 children. In his spare time he is a keen sailor of both large and small sailboats on Lake Ontario and in cottage country.
